Q: |
Do you recommend that both parents come? |

A: |

Definitely! Taking a class together increases the likelihood
that parents can work together as a team. New approaches
will be used by both parents and that will make it much more
effective with a strong-willed child.

Q: |

What if one parent signs up and then we take turns? |

A: |

Usually it is better to have one person come
the whole time as the class is sequenced and builds on
discussion from the previous class. Some parents are
able to take careful notes and share them with the spouse
so that some trading works out.

Q: |

What if we can't make all the classes? |

A: |

Lots of people have to miss some classes and
it is possible to keep up with the reading and homework
as well as to talk with the instructor after class.
However, do plan to be at the first three classes as they
form the foundation for the class.

Q: |

Can you provide parent references? |

A: |

Yes! Please contact the instructor and she
will happily provide parents who can describe their experiences
in this class.

 |

Q: |

Is childcare provided with the class? |

A: |

Unfortunately, there is no childcare provided.

 |

Q: |

I have read so many parenting books
and taken classes; I know a lot about parenting.
Should I still consider this class? |

A: |

Yes! Many parents have a great wealth of
knowledge but this class is unique because it is
specifically geared for the strong willed child and all
of the families in the class have the same kind of kids
so the discussion is rich and the instructor can help work
through some of the subtleties of raising a more
challenging child.
